Freight Forwarding Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and customs regulations within the UAE, ensuring seamless coordination of international shipments and compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Export Operations Management: Oversee and manage end-to-end export operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing of shipments via sea, land and air freight.

Documentation Oversight: Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of all export documentation, including Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and other necessary documents.

Customs Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE customs regulations and international trade laws, coordinating with customs brokers and relevant authorities for smooth clearance processes.

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to negotiate rates, schedule shipments, and resolve any operational issues.


Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in freight forwarding operations with a focus on exports within the UAE.

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE export regulations, Incoterms, and international shipping procedures.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain management are preferred.
