We are hiring an accountant to work in a hotel.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping
• Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Handle payroll, VAT filing, and government levies
• Monitor receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations
• Oversee utility bills, supplier payments, and expense tracking
• Support with audits and liaise with external auditors when needed
• Assist management with financial analysis and budgeting
Required Experience & Skills
• Experience in hospitality or real estate industry
• Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations and compliance
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
