The KAUST Coral Restoration Initiative (KCRI) is seeking a Life Support Systems (LSS) Specialist to oversee the installation, commissioning, and operation of LSS systems at coral nurseries in NEOM. This role is essential during the pre-commissioning and operational phases, supporting quality control, contractor supervision, and system readiness in a dynamic marine restoration environment.

Supervise daily LSS operations and preventive maintenance
Oversee commissioning and QA/QC activities of nursery systems
Support fit-out and setup of LSS for the Primary Nursery
Develop and manage SOPs and operational documentation
Audit and supervise third-party LSS service providers
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and reporting

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Control Systems, or Water Technology preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience with aquarium/aquaculture life support systems
Strong technical knowledge of aquatic LSS design and operations
Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Teams, and document management (e.g., SharePoint)
Experience with AutoCAD/Revit is a plus
Coral husbandry knowledge and Middle East experience are highly valued
Excellent English communication skills
