Rotating Pump Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Rotating Pump Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of rotating equipment—primarily pumps—used in industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with centrifugal, positive displacement, and other types of rotating equipment, as well as a strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, inspect, maintain, and repair rotating equipment including pumps, gearboxes, seals, and motors.
Disassemble and reassemble pumps and rotating machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and condition monitoring to ensure optimal operation
Diagnose mechanical problems using tools such as dial indicators, vernier calipers, vibration analyzers, and laser alignment systems
Align pumps and motors using precision alignment tools.
Document all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair details.
Follow all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to report findings and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in mechanical maintenance preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with rotating equipment in industrial or manufacturing environments.
Strong understanding of pump mechanics, alignment techniques, and repair procedures.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy components and work in confined spaces.
