Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Storekeeper to join our dynamic team in a leading furniture manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, ensuring accurate stock records, and supporting production by maintaining a well-organized store environment. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to inventory control. The Storekeeper will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations by coordinating closely with the procurement and production departments.
Job Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and furniture components.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock levels.
• Issue materials and supplies to production teams as needed.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and security of all items.
• Coordinate with procurement and production departments for stock requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience as a storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory software or stock management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Inventory Software).
• Diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or degree in manufacturing or industrial management is preferred.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
