Are you meticulous, organized, and ready to play a crucial role in bringing fresh groceries to our customers' doorsteps? Our rapidly expanding fulfillment center in Bahrain, specializing in food and grocery items for our popular mobile delivery app, is looking for dedicated Put Away Associates.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, tech-driven team at the heart of our operations!

What You'll Do:

As a Put Away Associate, you'll be essential in ensuring our wide selection of food and grocery products are stored accurately and efficiently, ready for quick delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

Receive & Inspect Freshness: Efficiently unload incoming shipments of fresh produce, chilled goods, pantry staples, and frozen items. Carefully inspect all products for quality, expiry dates, and any damages, ensuring only the freshest items make it to our shelves.
Temperature-Controlled Storage: Accurately identify and transport items to their designated temperature-controlled zones (e.g., dry storage, chillers, freezers) within the warehouse, using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and scanning tools.
Optimize & Organize: Strategically place products in their optimal storage locations, considering factors like shelf life, demand, and accessibility for our picking teams. Maintain impeccable organization to ensure quick retrieval.
Operate Equipment Safely: Safely and proficiently operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts or reach trucks (training provided if needed), specifically within a food-grade environment.
Maintain Inventory Accuracy: Ensure all products are correctly placed and recorded in the WMS, contributing to precise inventory counts critical for our mobile app's real-time stock updates.
Adhere to Food Safety & Hygiene: Strictly follow all food safety protocols, hygiene standards, and company procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant environment for handling groceries.
Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with our Receiving, Picking, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless flow of products from inbound to outbound.

What We're Looking For:

High Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for product quality, expiry dates, and accurate quantity verification is critical.
Reliability & Speed: Dependability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where efficiency directly impacts customer satisfaction.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable lifting and moving packages up to 10 kg regularly, and able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods within various temperature zones.
Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills and comfort using handheld scanners or willingness to learn our WMS.
Problem-Solver: Proactive in identifying and reporting any discrepancies, quality issues, or equipment malfunctions.
Team Player: Positive attitude and strong ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team setting.
Experience in food handling or a temperature-controlled warehouse is a strong plus!
Must be eligible to work in Bahrain.
