Looking For A Laundryman

We are looking a Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized laundry facility, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing various laundry items. They also operate and maintain laundry equipment, assist with inventory, and follow safety protocols.

*** Key Responsibilities:***
1. Sorting, Washing, Drying, and Folding:
2. Wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
3. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment, as well as report any malfunctions.

4. Keep track of laundry supplies, assist with ordering, and maintain adequate stock levels.
Cleaning and Organization:
5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry area.
6. Work with other departments, such as housekeeping, to ensure timely delivery of clean linens.
Specific Tasks:
7. Sorting laundry by color, fabric type, and cleaning process.
8. Treating heavily stained items before washing.
9. Setting machine controls and adding cleaning agents.
10. Tagging items for identification.
11. Inspecting items for damage or wear and reporting issues.
12. Handling and storing clean and soiled linens properly.
13. Assisting with other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
