Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sofa Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong craftsmanship skills, attention to detail, and experience in constructing high-quality sofas and upholstered furniture.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct, assemble, and upholster sofas and other furniture items according to design specifications.

Measure and cut fabric, foam, and frame materials accurately.

Build wooden or metal frames for sofas.

Attach webbing, springs, cushions, and other support components.

Sew, staple, and fix upholstery fabric neatly and securely.

Ensure all furniture pieces meet quality and durability standards.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or customer specifications.

Collaborate with designers and other team members for custom projects.

Maintain tools, machinery, and workspace in good working condition.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a sofa maker or upholsterer.

Skilled in using woodworking and upholstery tools.

Good understanding of sofa construction techniques.

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.
