Job Description & Accountabilities
• Development and implementation of Product Accounting related to Corporate Banking Products in line with accepted accounting framework, supplemented with maintenance/update of parameters tables in FAH and other related systems.
• Rectify any errors or lapse in accounting and prevent their recurrence through updating procedures and necessary system enhancements in coordination with ISG and Business Operations
• Development and Maintenance of Accounting manuals for Corporate Banking Products
• Coordination with ISG to translate the procedures/manuals for accounting and Financial Control requirements to be incorporated in the IT systems
• Testing and implementation of new systems and post implementation hyper care support
• Provide technical Accounting support to various Business lines and support Divisions
• Facilitate all user requests in relation to system updates and problem solving in relation to FAH/GL
• Undertake and Complete any activity / projects assigned by the Manager related to accounting / Banking
• Filing and documentation of all the routines, activities and projects including backlogs as may be; maintaining and preserving audit trail
• Supporting clearing of audit inspections issues related to Wholesale Banking
Knowledge & Skills
• Thorough Knowledge of IFRS and General Accounting Principles
• Well conversant with Banking Activities, Corporate loans and Deposits & Trade Finance Products
• Accounting Scheme and manual development
• Accounting systems development, maintenance and control
• Project Management Skills
• Good Knowledge of Oracle ERP, Financials Reporting
• Quick Learning, team working and presentation skills
