QC (Quality Control) Document Controller Job Description
A **QC Document Controller** ensures that all quality control documents are managed, stored, and organized efficiently to support the quality assurance and quality control processes within an organization. Key Responsibilities:
1. **Document Management**:
- Oversee the preparation, approval, and revision of QC-related documents.

2. **Quality Control Documentation**:
- Manage all quality control inspection records, test reports, certificates of compliance, and any other QC-related documentation.

- Assist in preparing technical documents, procedures, and specifications for audits or certifications.
3. **Compliance and Standardization**:
- Ensure all quality documents comply with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Assist in the implementation of ISO, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), or other quality frameworks.
- Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4. **Version Control and Revision Management**:
- Implement version control practices to ensure the use of the latest versions of quality control documents.
- Track revisions and updates to QC documents, ensuring all changes are properly authorized.
5. **Communication and Coordination**:
- Work closely with quality control inspectors, engineers, and other departments to ensure proper flow and processing of QC documentation.
- Ensure that all stakeholders have access to the correct documents as needed for inspections, quality checks, and audits.
- Provide support in preparing reports and presentations for management regarding QC document statuses.
6. **Reporting**:
- Generate reports for the QC department on document control metrics (e.g., document review cycles, overdue documents).
- Prepare and distribute required documentation for inspections and audits.
7. **Training and Support**:
- Train employees on document control procedures and the proper use of document management systems.
- Provide support for any document-related issues or questions across the organization.
8. **Security and Confidentiality**:
