Required Sr. Procurement Engineer

Industry: HVAC / MEP Contracting

Job Summary:

The Procurement Engineer will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the procurement process within the HVAC/MEP Contracting industry in Dubai. This position requires expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and securing materials and services to meet project requirements while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet the specific requirements of projects.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Collaborate closely with project managers to understand material needs, delivery schedules, and budget constraints.

Ensure timely procurement of materials while maintaining cost controls and quality standards.

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about industry trends.

Establish and nurture strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Monitor and assess supplier performance, addressing issues promptly to ensure compliance.

Work closely with the project team to resolve procurement-related challenges.

Stay updated on relevant industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance in procurement activities.

Manage and update procurement databases and documentation.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 7-8 years of proven experience as a Procurement Engineer.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Previous experience in the HVAC/MEP Contracting industry in the UAE.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
