Healthcare IT Integration And Implementation Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

Own the onboarding requests from start to finish and coordinate with all other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of onboarding tasks.

Complete all provider onboarding tasks as required.

Coordinate and Complete integration projects with Healthcare IT Vendors.

Create custom components, write SQL queries, and procedures, use other tools required for the integration in coordination with product development team.

Assist customer support teams for integration related issues.

Perform root cause analysis for integration related issues and provide recommendations for appropriate resolution of the issue.

Create, update integration documents, requirements specifications and other technical artifacts used for integration projects.

Deploy, configure, and update hardware (servers, peripherals) and software related to Healthcare products.

Conduct training for customers, 3rd party vendors, and partners on Healthcare products/services.

Perform housekeeping tasks to ensure integrations are relevant and updated such as performing EDI mapping updates, reference data updates / modification as needed.

Conduct healthcare system analysis and be familiar with healthcare data structures and processes.

Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor.




Candidate Requirements:

5+ years of experience of working within healthcare IT domain.

Experience on developing, consuming APIs, files based, database integrations.

Experience of working with clinic/hospital information systems, integration between such systems will be an added advantage.

Adept knowledge of writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, manipulation of large-scale databases based on MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres etc.

Ability to analyze and map data stored in a variety of data formats for integration and documentation.

Strong problem solving and analysis skills.

Excellent communication and organization skills.

Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.

Experience working with NPHIES is preferred.

Development experience in building API and HL7 interfaces is preferred.

Experience working with HL7 FHIR is preferred.
