Foam Carving

Work with various materials such as foam, wood, metals, and plastics to complete creative projects
Reading shop drawings to assess the project and assemble materials to specifications
Applying paint and other coatings manually and with spray applicators
Using power tools and hand tools to cut and prepare raw materials for assembly
Sanding a variety of materials for different finishes
Applying decal to a variety of materials
Inspects finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly
Inspect each project for quality and document each step in the process
Follows all safety standards and procedures
Keeps shop and work area clean and organized
Works with a sense of urgency to meet short deadlines without compromising quality
Interest and ability to work long hours and weekends as needed.
