Job Description

Seeking for a male candidate at least high school diploma with approximately 2 to 3 years work experience to work in the role of Storekeeper.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

- Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
* Unload materials or equipment.
* Stock supplies or merchandise.

- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Inspect items for damage or defects.

- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
Receive shipments.

- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Verify accuracy of financial or transactional data.
Ensure that inventory count is adequate, cost effective, and accurate using various methods such as a full inventory count, cycle counting, or spot checking.

- Reports and papers are processed, typed, edited, and formatted.

- Filing documents, entering data, and managing databases are all part of the job.


Qualifications / Skills:

- strong preference for candidates who have prior experience as a Storekeeper.

- Exceptional attention to detail

- able to work with Microsoft software (i.e. MS Excel, MS Word, Gmail drive)

- Ability to communicate administrative issues both internally and externally.

- Filing, record keeping, and organizing skills must be exceptional.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ideal candidate will be very well organised, self starter, smart working and have initiative to solve problems. If you are not a problem solver and self starter this job is not suitable for you.
