We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Full Time Kid's Assistant Manager. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive and engaging environment for children while supporting the overall success of our business.
Main Responsibilities:
-Assisting in managing the daily operations of the play area.
-Contributing to the development and growth of the business, focusing on sales increase.
-Managing marketing efforts and social media presence.
Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent; formal education in child development and knowledge of effective discipline methods are preferred.
-Prior experience in childcare is preferred.
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with parents and families.
-Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of families within the established guidelines of the play area.
-Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and think clearly in emergency situations.
-Ability to manage children who may be exhibiting challenging behaviors, and to know when and how to seek assistance.
-Ability to prepare and organize art supplies for children's activities.
-Physical dexterity and strength to lift children, guide children who are out of control, and move play area objects.
-Understanding of child development principles related to separation anxiety, play, social interaction, and stress management in new environments, to create a fun and comfortable atmosphere.
-Proficiency in current behavior management techniques, utilizing positive reinforcement and time-out strategies.
-Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively within the play area.
