Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)Engineer _ Job Vacancy In Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the facilitation of IPF analysis and development and assurance activities. (IPF – Instrument Protective Function)
• Monitors SIS Management Process (SIS – Safety Instrument System) and Performance
• IPF Analysis and Development
• Populate SIFpro database management (SIFpro is SHELL software used for IPF assessment and design, IEC 61511 compliant software.)
• Facilitate SIF Analysis and Design
• Quality control of analysis and results
• Generate IPF Reports and Recommendations
• Manage handover to action owners of IPF recommendations.
• Ensure compliance to IEC61511/61508 standards and all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls meeting statutory regulations and international standards.
• To be a team member of all SIL Studies for new projects (carried out after HAZOP).
• Interface and interact with Process Safety group in all areas of Process Safety and Risk Management.
• Identify the degree of compliance and level of necessary improvement required for MARAFIQ Power plant’s Instrument Protective Functions.
• Monitor and update IPF recommendation tracking system.
• Facilitate PRM meetings.

Education Requirements:
• University Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Instrumentation & Control Engineering or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:
• 5-7 years’ experience working in a Reliability Engineering Department in heavy industrial or utilities plant.
• 3-4 years’ experience in Instrument Protective function assessment and design
• Experience of Reliability Engineering using SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience of developing Reliability Engineering maintenance plans/schedules

Professional Certification(s):
TUV Functional Safety Professional/CFSP by Exida
