Job Description: Civil QC Inspector (Aramco Approved) non-CBT
Primary Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure all civil works comply with project specifications, Aramco standards (such as SAES), and relevant international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
Perform quality checks at various stages of construction, including pre-construction, during construction, and post-construction phases.
Inspection and Testing:
Conduct inspections for civil works such as concrete, steel reinforcement, formwork, masonry, earthworks, asphalt, and structural components.
Perform field and laboratory tests for soil compaction, concrete strength, asphalt mix design, and other relevant materials.
Documentation:
Prepare and maintain inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from project specifications or standards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Coordination:
Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and Aramco representatives to resolve quality-related issues.
Participate in quality audits and inspections conducted by Aramco or third-party auditors.
Site Supervision:
Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and work procedures.
Verify that materials used are approved and meet project specifications.
Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
Ensure compliance with Aramco's HSE standards during inspection activities.
Report unsafe conditions or practices observed during site inspections.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Educational Background:
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
Certifications:
Approval from Saudi Aramco as a Civil QC Inspector (mandatory).
Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ACI, or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil construction and quality control, with significant exposure to Aramco projects.
Skills:
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Regulations Knowledge:
Familiarity with Aramco's specific standards, such as SAES, SATIP, SAMSS, and Saudi Building Codes.
