Coating Estimator With Saudi Experience

Job Description:

• Prepare and review cost estimates for coating projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Evaluate project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to calculate material and labor costs. • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing for coatings materials and services. • Assess project scope and work with project managers to define timelines and budgets. • Analyze historical data and industry standards to provide accurate cost projections. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management and clients, outlining estimated costs and project requirements. • Assist in negotiating contracts and change orders with clients, ensuring that all terms are aligned with budget and scope. • Monitor the progress of ongoing projects, identifying any potential cost overruns or delays and suggesting corrective actions. • Work closely with project teams to ensure that cost estimation aligns with project goals and timelines. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coating technologies, industry trends, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates. • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards in all cost estimates and project assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Coating Estimator, with proven expertise in Saudi Arabia's coating industry. • In-depth knowledge of coating materials, processes, and cost estimation techniques. • Strong understanding of Saudi construction regulations and standards related to coatings. • Experience with cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present estimates to clients and senior management. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines. • Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to coating and construction projects in Saudi Arabia. • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
