Navy Planner Job Technician
Organization: Advice Right Consulting Services
Location: Middle East
Overview: This role supports various Navy maritime projects, including the maintenance and upgrade of ships and craft. The planner will coordinate and execute maintenance plans, liaise with multiple stakeholders, and ensure all technical requirements are met. This position requires hybrid work, with responsibilities conducted both remotely and on-site in the Middle East.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a liaison between Advise Right Consulting Services and government clients to ensure
clear communication and understanding of project specifications and requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed work packages for fleet maintenance, including labor and
Material estimates, and schedule planning.
• Conduct thorough ship checks to validate repair and alteration needs, and coordinate with on-
site representatives for precise execution.
• Manage and analyze technical documents and blueprints to provide accurate cost estimates and
material lists, ensuring compliance with NAVSEA standards and other directives.
• Participate in Maintenance and Project Team meetings, contributing to the strategic planning
and execution of Class Maintenance Plans for surface ships.
• Maintain and manage a cost-estimating guide and produce detailed estimates for repair items
and ship alterations.
• Support Program and Project Managers in the planning and estimating of surface
Alterations, repairs, or fleet modernization projects.
• Conduct site visits and liaise with all relevant parties to ensure a comprehensive understanding
of the work scope and project boundaries.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant
Experience. Extensive experience in the field may substitute for educational requirements.
• Proven experience in naval or maritime maintenance planning and execution, particularly with
U.S. Navy ship maintenance.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in reading and interpreting ship installation
drawings, technical manuals, and NAVSEA Standard Items.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including onboard ships, in shipyards, and in
industrial environments.
Physical and Travel Requirements:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and move about inside the office
or shipyard as needed.
• Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Occasionally travels within assigned area for site visits and project management tasks.

client data.
