JOB DESCRIPTION
Transporting goods
Delivering goods from a seller to a recipient, or from a manufacturing center to a distribution center
Ensuring safety
Driving safely, following regulations, and reporting accidents or violations
Maintaining vehicles
Inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and communicating repairs to the workshop
Planning and managing
Planning routes, meeting delivery schedules, and managing distribution
Completing paperwork
Completing transport documents, downloading tachograph data, and documenting work expenses
Other duties
Loading and unloading goods, securing freight, and installing and removing tire chains
