Mechanical Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Assitant , 10 Nos.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on company equipments under the supervision of department supervisors. This entry-level role will help ensure that all port equipments are kept in safe and efficient operating condition. The Maintenance Technician will also assist with diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area. Key Responsibilities: Assist Mechanical/Electrical Technicians: Work closely with Mechanical/Electrical Technicians to gain handson experience and expand mechanical/electrical skills. Perform Basic Maintenance Tasks: Assist in routine maintenance activities such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, fluid checks, and other scheduled preventive services on various types of vehicles. Equipment Inspection: Conduct basic inspections to identify wear and tear, damage, or other potential issues in the equipments, and report findings to Supervisors. Repairs and Troubleshooting: Assist in minor mechanical repairs under the guidance of Senior Technicians, including but not limited to brake replacements, part installations, and diagnostics of common vehicle issues. Maintain Work Area: Ensure the maintenance bay or work area remains clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies. Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory of parts and materials. Follow Safety Standards: Adhere to company safety protocols and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment for both staff and vehicles. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs performed. Assist with updating vehicle maintenance logs. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in automotive repair or a related field is a plus. Experience: No prior experience required, but some exposure to automotive maintenance or mechanical work is preferred.

10+2 =12 hrs duty per day
30 days in a month.
Monthly one-day leave
1700 QR salary + 2 Hrs Overtime
