Job Opportunity: Foreman – Sea Port Operations (Qatar)

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to supervise operations at a busy seaport in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in port operations and leadership, particularly in overseeing stevedores and port labor.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise STEVEDORES and manage port operations effectively.
• Follow Customs Authorities' directives and ensure smooth operation of all tasks.
• Manage 24/7 operations, overseeing Al Baida manpower and equipment.
• Key Duties:
o Breaking seals and opening container doors.
o Unloading, packing, and re-stuffing cargo (Palletizing and Un-Palletizing).
o Closing and resealing containers post-inspection.
o Ensuring all activities are recorded and reported to authorities.
o Cleaning and maintaining terminals, including the inspection area.
o Handling vessel and yard operations, such as loading, discharging, receiving, and delivery.
o Managing the opening and closing of inspection shed rollers and gates.
o Other duties as assigned by port operations management.
• Roastering & Shift Control: Coordinate shift rosters, manage and control workers.
• Reporting: Regularly report to government authorities and company officers.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar role, preferably in sea port or container terminal operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse team and work in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Salary: 2,500 QAR per month.
• Working Hours: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekly days off (one day off per week).
