The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the inventory, organizing storage areas, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the store or warehouse. Key duties include:
Receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming goods and materials
Storing and organizing products in the correct locations
Maintaining accurate inventory records and updating stock levels
Issuing items based on requests or orders and ensuring timely deliveries
Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
Managing stock rotation to avoid expired or obsolete items
Preparing goods for shipment or transfer to other locations
Ensuring the storage area is clean, safe, and compliant with safety regulations
Handling returns and damaged goods as per company policies
Coordinating with suppliers and other departments for restocking and order fulfillment
Salary 2,000 to 2,500 plus accommodation and transportation
Asian nationality from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Philippine
