Job Purpose:
The Instrument Specialist will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating instrumentation and control systems critical to the chemical manufacturing process. This position ensures that all instruments are performing efficiently and within required specifications to maintain product quality, safety, and compliance with environmental standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems in the chemical, petrochemical, or industrial manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of control systems (DCS, PLCs, SCADA).
• Proficiency in the calibration and maintenance of various instruments (flow, pressure, temperature).
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental standards (e.g., HAZOP, SIL).
• Good communication skills.
