Algae Plant Operation Technician

Scope of Work • Algae plant operation
• Culture scale up from lab to large scale
• Records of main parameters during culture stage
• Routine maintenance of culture systems
• Cleaning of culture systems, equipment and facilities
• Perform basic analysis in lab
• Follow and improve Standard Operation Protocols (SOP)
• Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities in the field of his/her position.

Competencies • Good communication skills in English
• Multitasking
• Ability to work under pressure
• Desirable knowledge on algae biology
• Desirable knowledge and background in microalgae production
• Positive mind attitude
• Able to work in outdoor conditions and in shift mode
• Good solve problem skills
Qualifications Bachelor degree in aquaculture, marine biology or related field

Experience • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in biomass production
• Technical experience on operation of different equipment such as pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
