Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative vision and strategy for all events, ensuring they are innovative, engaging, and reflective of Red Company’s brand. - Develop and put forward unique event concepts that meet client goals and expectations. - Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and expectations, translating them into distinctive event concepts. - Oversee the design and production of events, from initial concept through to execution. - Ensure the aesthetic, thematic, and logistical elements of events are cohesively integrated. - Manage event styling, including decor, lighting, audio-visual elements, and overall ambiance. - Follow up with the design team for 2D and 3D event renderings to ensure alignment with the creative vision. - Create master layouts and full event or exhibition concepts, integrating all design and logistical components. - Lead and inspire a team of event planners, designers, and coordinators. - Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging innovative ideas and solutions. - Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. - Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial constraints. - Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure the best possible terms and pricing. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded. - Provide regular updates and reports to clients on event progress, addressing any concerns or changes promptly. - Ensure all events are executed to the highest standard, with a focus on quality, creativity, and client satisfaction. - Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. - Read and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to understand requirements and client expectations. - Collect and compile all technical proposals for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications. - Regularly report to the Head of Events Business and Events Director on the progress of events, budget status, and team performance. - Provide detailed post-event reports to assess success and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Architecture, Marketing, Design or a related field. - Minimum of 7 years of experience in event planning and design, with a proven track record of successful event execution. - Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to think creatively and strategically, with strong problem-solving skills. - Proficient in event management software and tools. - Proficient in using multiple designing programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and other relevant software. - Ability to create master layouts and full event or exhibition concepts. - Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the events and exhibitions industry. - Strong network of industry contacts, including vendors, suppliers, and venues. - Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in event design and production.
