The Electrical QC Inspector is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality control of electrical systems and components within a water treatment plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical quality control and inspection, with experience in the water treatment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control Management:
Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans for electrical systems.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
Monitor the quality of electrical materials and workmanship to ensure they meet required standards.
Inspection and Testing:
Perform detailed inspections of electrical installations, including wiring, panels, transformers, and control systems.
Conduct testing of electrical systems to ensure proper operation and safety.
Identify and document any deficiencies or non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
Prepare and submit quality control reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
Ensure all quality control documentation is in compliance with project and regulatory requirements.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and quality within the team and among contractors.
Address any quality or safety issues promptly and effectively.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure quality and timely project execution.
Provide technical support and guidance on electrical quality control matters.
Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality control activities.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of [X] years of experience in electrical quality control and inspection, preferably in the water treatment industry.
In-depth knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices.
Proficient in using quality control and testing equipment.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Electrical Quality Control (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
Minimum Experience 10 Plus with international projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
Familiarity with project management software and tools.
