Position :Head – Mechanical Project & Maintenance
Department: Mechanical
Position reports to: Director
Primary purpose of the position: Overall Project Management, execution , procurement, maintenance of Mechanical equipment and Utilities.
Essential duties / responsibilities of the position:
Project Management:
•Plan, coordinate, and execute mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
•Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
•Develop project plans and schedules.
Maintenance and Operations:
•Oversee the maintenance of mechanical systems and related utilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
•Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues promptly.
Acquisition and Procurement:
•Identify, evaluate, and procure necessary equipment and materials for mechanical engineering projects.
•Vendor identification, assessment, floating technical enquiries, quotation assessment, preparing comparison and negotiate to ensure cost-effective procurement..
Liaison:
•Liaise with external contractors and suppliers as needed.
•Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
Requirement :
Education :Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Work Experience :10-15 years of experience, of which 4-5 years of overseas experience.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, maintenance of utilities, and mechanical processes.
Experience with CMMS(Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), data analysis, and integration of IT and OT systems is good to have.
The candidate must be from the manufacturing industry with proven experience in managing and executing projects from start to finish. Must have strong leadership and team management skills.
