Job Title: QA/QC Manager

The QA/QC Manager will lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring that all products and services meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role involves managing a team of QA/QC professionals, developing and implementing quality management systems, and collaborating with other departments to improve quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Oversee the creation and maintenance of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, quality manuals, and inspection protocols.
3. Manage and mentor a team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
4. Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to enhance the team’s skills and knowledge.
5. Develop and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure products meet quality standards.
6. Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes and products to identify areas for improvement.
7. Collaborate with the production and development teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
8. Oversee QC activities, including inspections, testing, and measurement of products and materials.
9. Ensure that QC procedures are followed and that products meet specifications before release.
10. Analyze quality data and prepare reports to communicate quality performance to management.
11. Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
12. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes and systems.
13. Lead and participate in quality improvement projects, using methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Root Cause Analysis.
14. Work closely with customers to understand their quality requirements and address any quality-related concerns.
15. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
3. Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP, Six Sigma).
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
6. Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Six Sigma Black Belt, or ISO Lead Auditor.
3. Experience in the specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and food production).
Working Conditions:
1. The role may require occasional travel to other company locations, suppliers, or customer sites.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
3. Office timing as per the management decision should follow.
Salary Range: 10k-20k Per Month
