Mechanical Technical Procurement Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in technical office and procurement works for HVAC, firefighting, and plumbing systems ready to join immediately.

Preference will be given to candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia.

Following is required:

1)At least 5 years experience in the Contracting Field
2)Knowledge in International Codes such as Ashrae, SMACNA, NFPA, and IPC
3)Knowledge in Material Specifications for HVAC, Plumbing, & Firefighing
4)Knowledge in KSA Market and relevant suppliers
5)Identification of all project requirements in requisition for purchase (specs, bill of material, drawings...)
6)Maintaining the BOQ with updates from suppliers and checking that received quotes are in line with project budget
7)Receiving the price quotations from different suppliers
8) Preparing schedule of comparison
9)Ensuring that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information upon which the quotations are given equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements
10)Following up with site team and technical office to get material takeoff for certain items, cross checking the takeoff, and sending to suppliers to get quotation
11)Preparing material submittals in line with project requirements
12)following up with consultant to get approval on material
13)Placing order for material based on final takeoff and approved material
14)following up with suppliers for timely delivery of material on site
15) Knowledge in Revit is preferable
