Cybersecurity And Network Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity and Network Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both cybersecurity and network administration, with a strong understanding of best practices in both areas.

Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect our organization's systems and data
- Monitor network activity for security breaches and investigate violations when they occur
- Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment and software
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure network and cybersecurity systems are integrated effectively
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in cybersecurity and networking technology

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity and network administration
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols
- Familiarity with industry compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI DSS
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
