Responsibilities:
Design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery, such as conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, motors etc;
Installation, inspection, calibration, repair and maintenance of industrial weighing and measuring equipment;
Assist other maintenance personnel with repairs as needed, especially in particular areas o expertise;
Perform safety audits and training;
Must be willing to work overtime and be on a rotating on-call service;
Document work performed including test data into job specific Work Control Packages;
Develop and maintain relationship with account managers to keep them informed of sales opportunities you might see;
Assemble sub-sea components utilizing two-part Polyurethane and epoxy adhesives;
Troubleshooting and repairing PLC equipment;
Hydro-statically test completed products using on-site test equipment;
Complete maintenance and repair logs;
Providing on-the-job training to employees;
Communicate with Service Manager on any unusual problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed;
Resolve assembly problems that may require altering dimensions or tolerances;
Knowledge and experience in operating all types of hand and power tools while adhering to safety instructions.
