LEAD PRODUCTION PLANNER
Purpose of the Job:
• As part of L5 Maintenance the Maintenance planning & scheduling Leader will be in-charge of planning, Scheduling and coordinating the flow of work and resources for both preventive and corrective maintenance. This includes identifying and verifying the availability of materials and tools, identifying tasks involved and the qualified personnel required. The planner/scheduler also builds a weekly schedule of work orders, reviews and validate the results of completed work in CMMS and analyzes data to determine where improvements can be made to ensure that maintenance targets and contractual obligations are achieved to meet the project KPIs. She /He is the privileged link between OCC, FAMM & Maintenance Team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Leading the planning of all sub-systems.
• Integration of sub-systems maintenance plans.
• Managing all the production CMMS/GSI SES Key Users
• Coordination with FAMM, Operators, PTW planners’ team
• Monitoring work execution and all the outstanding work.
• Verifying work has been performed and reported correctly.
• Supporting, Advising sub-system planners and execution team.
• Reporting to Production director and Line Managers.
• Reviewing the monthly Roster / Leave Plan for the maintenance team.
• Work and contribute to achieve contractual performance of Reliability, Availability and Safety and cost performance.
• Mapping out training plans, schedules and developing training programs and coordinating with system managers.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe and effective manner in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), Rules and Regulations, AZDP, Railway Group Standards, TOC Safety Case.
Educational Requirements:
• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic with minimum 7 years of proved track record of maintenance, working at Planning and supervising maintenance works.
Qualifications:
• A Minimum of 5years’ experience in Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
• A Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maximo, SAP.
• Previous supervision and team leading experience in a Multicultural team.
• Good knowledge of railway products and systems.
• Conflict management and interpersonal skills.
• Team spirit approach and good communication skills.
• Anticipation and clear reporting.
• Communication skills (provide clear instructions/directions).
• Reasoning skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills).
• Ability to communicate clearly by radio, intercom and telephone.
• Capability to manage pressure.
• The ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Perfect Knowledge CMMS.
• Problem solving and Analytical thinking.
• Planning and Organizational skill to meet availability and reliability figures.
