Job Description

A Well Reputed Restaurant is looking for a F&B Purchasing Manager/Cost Controller

Competences:
- Proven working experience as F&B Purchasing Manager/Cost Controller
- At least 4-5 years of overall experience.
- Should have F & B specification.
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

Purchasing Manager
- Follow the purchasing strategies to optimize costs and ensure timely acquisition of goods and
services.
- Creating and managing purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to budget constraints.
- Monitoring inventory levels, anticipating demand and coordination with suppliers to maintain optimal stock.
- Negotiating contracts , pricing and terms with suppliers to secure favorable deals and cost savings.
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
- Staying updated on industry trends, new products and emerging suppliers to enhance the procurement process.
- Cultivating and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.

Cost Controller
- Analyzing and monitoring costs related to food and beverages operations, including ingredients, supplies, other overhead expenses.
- Developing and managing budgets for Food and beverages operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective practices.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling any discrepancies.
- Implementing cost control measures to minimize waste, reduce expenses and maximize profitability.
- Assisting in determining menu pricing based on ingredients costs, portion sizes and profit margins.
- Preparing financial reports, cost analysis summaries and variance reports for management review.
- Ensuring compliance with financial and accounting standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Providing training and guidance to staff members on cost control procedures and best practices.
