Job Description Summary •

This job is a Mechanical Technician/ Balancer. Duties are subject to change as the assigned mentor sees fit. The duties laid out below is intended to provide the necessary skills to be a Mechanical Technician/ Balancer Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities:

Balancing Heavy rotor components.

Knowledge of balancing Machine Setup.

Ability to perform static and Dynamic balancing.

Ability to understand the balancing requirement from the Documents.

Well versed with use of Microsoft Office Tools.

Ability to perform mechanical Setup of the machine.

Capable to operate Overhead Cranes.

Ability to read the Mechanical drawings.

Understanding of the tolerance requirement for balancing.

Ability to understand & operate balancing machine software.

Work closely with Supervisors Engineer to ensure efficient operation of equipment.

Will be required to perform efficiently with little or no supervision.

Capable to use instrument for measurement check.

Follow 5S (Sort, stabilize, shine, standardize, sustain) Lean Principles, safety rules and regulations.

Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Require:

Diploma or Technical college degree or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical or similar discipline)

5 to 10-years total experience and minimum 3 years as Balancer. Desired Characteristics:

Ability to read and communicate in English.

Curiosity and desire to learn and expand skill set.

adaptable and open to change.

Work in Change shifts, both Day & Night shift
