About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a small but rapidly expanding firm. The role involves managing all aspects of the accounting cycle, including costing and preparing financial statements.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
* Document financial transactions by entering account details.
* Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
* Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
* Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
* Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
* Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
* Secure financial information by completing database backups.
* Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls.
* Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
