Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, heavy vehicles, generators, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance of construction equipment and site machinery.
Perform engine overhauls, part replacements, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failure and operational delays.
Maintain accurate service records, including maintenance logs and parts usage.
Ensure all tools and machinery are in compliance with safety and operational standards.
Work closely with site operations teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness.
Provide mechanical support during equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
Requirements:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Diesel Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
5–10 years of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance, preferably in construction or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of engine systems, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and basic electrical components.
Proficient in reading service manuals and using diagnostic tools.
Ability to work independently and solve mechanical problems efficiently.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to work in remote or site-based environments and under time constraints.
Valid GCC driver’s license is required.
