Hiring: Contracts and Commercial Engineer – NWC Rehabilitation Project

Arkan Al-Afdal Contracting Company is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts and Commercial Engineer to manage the contractual and financial aspects of our prestigious NWC rehabilitation project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare, review, and manage project contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
• Handle claims, variations, and change orders in accordance with contract terms.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with agreements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contractual and commercial matters.
• Support in resolving disputes and providing legal and contractual advice to project teams.
• Ensure all commercial activities adhere to company policies and Saudi regulations.
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Law.
• 5-7 years of experience in contracts and commercial management within the construction industry.
• Experience with FIDIC contracts and KSA government projects (e.g., NWC) is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of contractual terms, legal regulations, and commercial practices.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
