Position: Accountant – Contracting Section

About Us:
Middle East Contracting Co is a growing contracting company serving major clients in Saudi Arabia. We are looking for a detail-oriented and professional Accountant to join our finance team and support smooth financial operations in line with company and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations on a monthly and yearly basis.
• Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor project-related costs, budgets, and expense control.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate billing and cost allocation.
• Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, contracts, and other financial documents.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the contracting or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and Saudi financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Professional certifications (SOCPA, CPA, CMA) will be an advantage.
