ob Summary:
We are looking for an energetic and skilled Bartender with experience in hospitality and bar operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining inventory and stock levels, ensuring proper storage of alcohol, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role also includes monitoring wastage, supporting bar promotions, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and glassware at all times.
Accurately manage alcohol inventory, including receiving, storing, monitoring stock, and conducting regular stock counts.
Implement procedures to minimize wastage and ensure proper usage of bar products.
Ensure compliance with local laws and hotel policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Assist in developing and promoting new cocktail menus, seasonal drinks, and bar promotions.
Provide excellent guest service by engaging with guests, making recommendations, and handling requests or complaints professionally.
Support in training junior bar staff and ensuring adherence to service standards.
Accurately process guest orders, payments, and maintain records as required.
Participate in daily briefings and contribute to a positive and professional team culture.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Bartender in the hospitality industry.
In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation methods.
Strong background in alcohol inventory management and stock control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Guest-oriented with a passion for service and hospitality.
Ability to handle busy environments and work under pressure.
Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.
Certification in responsible alcohol service is an advantage.
