Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a well-presented and customer-focused Front Office Receptionist to join our team. The role requires excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to handle guest requests efficiently. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process, accurate reservations handling, and delivering outstanding guest service in line with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression.

Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently, following hotel procedures.

Manage guest reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using the property management system (PMS).

Provide accurate information about hotel services, facilities, promotions, and local attractions.

Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Maintain and update guest records and ensure billing accuracy.

Coordinate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and other departments to ensure smooth guest services.

Handle telephone calls, emails, and correspondence in a courteous and professional manner.

Follow hotel policies regarding cash handling, payment processing, and data privacy.

Assist with daily reports and support Front Office operations as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a Front Office or Guest Services role (hospitality experience preferred).

Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) and MS Office applications.

Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Customer-oriented with a professional appearance and positive attitude.

Ability to multitask and handle busy operations calmly.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per hotel operations.

Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
