Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment) – Water Treatment Sector
Salary: AED 5000 – Package ( Negotiable )

Qualifications:

B E in Mechanical Engineering, 4+ years of experience in the design and specification of static equipment, preferably in water treatment or related industries
Sound understanding of mechanical design standards and material compatibility (especially for chemical dosing or treated water)

Experience with fabrication follow-up, quality control, and supplier coordination
Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
Specialized in Static Equipment on water treatment and industrial utility systems.
such as storage tanks, pressure vessels, clarifiers, filters, air receivers, and chemical dosing units.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare design calculations and fabrication drawings for static equipment used in water and wastewater treatment systems
• Develop and review technical datasheets, material specifications, and mechanical deliverables
• Ensure compliance with relevant international standards such as ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, AWWA D100, TEMA, and local regulations
• Coordinate with process, piping, civil, electrical, and procurement teams for equipment layout, interfaces, and utility connections.
• Participate in vendor evaluation, drawing review, and FAT/inspection stages
• Contribute to bid evaluations, technical clarifications, and project documentation

Software & Tools:

AutoCAD – Equipment layout and detailed mechanical drawings
PV Elite / Compress – Pressure vessel design
MS Excel – Calculation sheets and datasheet development
Familiarity with ANSYS or NozzlePRO is a plus

On completion of 12 months, 30 days leave with vacation ticket and leave salary.
