Required Transportation Manager (waste Management) Who Has Managing More Then 500 Vehicles

Brief Summary:
The Transportation Manager in the waste management industry oversees the efficient and compliant movement of waste materials, ensuring timely collection, transportation, and disposal. This role involves fleet management, route optimization, regulatory compliance, and team leadership to ensure operational excellence and environmental safety.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and monitor waste collection and transportation operations.
Optimize routes for fuel efficiency, cost reduction, and timely service delivery.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local transportation and environmental regulations (e.g., DOT, EPA).
Manage fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Oversee driver scheduling, training, and performance to meet safety and operational standards.
Monitor transportation costs, budgets, and KPIs to improve efficiency.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize accidents and environmental hazards.
Liaise with waste disposal facilities, municipalities, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking for real-time monitoring.
Handle logistics for hazardous and non-hazardous waste transport as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in transportation management, preferably in waste management and who are managing more than 500 different type vehicles
