Job Vacancy: Planning & Estimation Engineer (Civil – KSA Experience Required)

Eqtaad General Contracting Co. Ltd is looking for a highly skilled Planning & Estimation Engineer (Civil) to join our team. This position requires a proactive professional who can take full responsibility for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and project tracking from the office to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate cost estimations for civil and interior fit-out projects.

Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.

Analyze tender documents, drawings, and BOQs to prepare competitive bids.

Build up unit rates based on market knowledge and supplier/vendor pricing.

Coordinate with site teams to track work progress, material flow, and resource usage.

Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.

Monitor project costs and provide regular financial progress reports.

Assist procurement by identifying critical materials and timelines.

Work closely with project managers and engineers for smooth execution and planning updates.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Saudi Arabia in estimation and planning roles.

Strong knowledge in civil and interior works estimation, quantity surveying, and cost analysis.

Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Excel, and relevant engineering software.

In-depth understanding of Saudi market pricing and labor/material cost structures.

Ability to handle multiple projects and collaborate across departments.

Preferred Skills:
Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.

Experience in both civil construction and interior fit-out projects.

Familiarity with local authority requirements and procedures.
