Prepares lifting plan for critical and heavy lift.
Plans & schedules priorities and sequences of work.
Ensure all lifting tackles and crane equipment are in good condition with a valid third-party certificate.
Ensure that the activity to be executed in accordance with the site protocol.
Approve and ensure proper calculation of required sling size based on properly identified load weight.
Attach loads utilizing proper Center of Gravity (COG), select proper hitch to hold and control the load, to include tandem lifts, man-basket, and all other designated critical lift operations.
Set-up and perform the designed lifting plan to ensure both rigging and loads are protected during the lift
Calculate Sling Angle Stress
Calculating areas and volumes of identified loads
Perform correct hand signaling and deliver proper radio communication to ensure proper load control
