Senior Data Quality Analyst (Only Egyptian National)

Job description: As a Senior Data Quality Analyst, you play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data used for informed decision-making within the organization. Your expertise in data analysis, quality assessment, and collaboration with database developers will be essential. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this senior role:
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Data Quality Assessment:
o Perform statistical tests on large datasets to evaluate data quality and integrity.
o Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and inconsistencies in data.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data quality issues.
2. System Performance Evaluation:
o Evaluate system performance and design in relation to data quality.
o Analyze the impact of system changes on data accuracy.
o Propose improvements to data collection and storage processes.
3. Test Case Definition and Execution:
o Create and manage comprehensive test cases for data quality validation.
o Develop both manual and automated test scenarios.
o Execute test cases and document results.
4. Collaboration with Database Developers:
o Work closely with database developers to enhance data quality.
o Provide insights on database design improvements.
o Streamline data validation processes.
5. Continuous Improvement:
o Drive process enhancements related to data quality.
o Participate in root cause analysis for data discrepancies.
o Contribute to the development of best practices.
Qualifications
• Education:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Technical, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• Skills & Experience:
o Proficiency in statistical analysis and data quality assessment.
o Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect reporting tools (e.g., JIRA).
o Understanding of database systems and architecture.
• Minimum Experience:
o At least 5 years of experience in data quality analysis.
o Exposure to banking and financial applications.
o Knowledge of SQL and requirements-based testing.
