User Acceptance Tester (UAT Engineer) (Only Egyptian Nationals)
Job Description
As a User Acceptance Tester, you play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and usability of software applications during the development lifecycle. Your insights and expertise contribute to the successful delivery of reliable and user-friendly products.
Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Defect Tracking and Resolution:
o Responsible for tracking defects and ensuring appropriate resolution.
o Collaborate with development teams to address issues promptly.
2. UAT Coordination:
o Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with real users.
o Conduct review sessions with stakeholders who will be using the application.
3. Test Case Creation and Maintenance:
o Write and maintain detailed test cases/scripts aligned with user and business needs.
o Ensure test scripts reflect intended functionality and workflow.
4. Participation in Testing Activities:
o Participate actively in all testing phases, including planning, designing, scripting, execution, and reporting.
o Organize functional and end-to-end testing, providing valuable feedback.
5. Acceptance Criteria Definition:
o Collaborate with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
o Review user stories, business requirements, and functional specifications.
6. Full Test Lifecycle Oversight:
o Oversee the entire testing process, from test planning to continuous integration.
o Assign project priorities within the department
Qualifications
• Education:
o Preferred relevant degrees include Bachelor’s and Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Business, Education, Technical, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business/Management, or Natural Science.
• Desired Skills:
o Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
o Knowledge of development/project life cycles.
o Understanding of business processes, financial systems, and inventory control.
o Proficiency in issue and project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
o Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft and software development lifecycle procedures.
o At least 2 years of IT experience as a UAT or QA Tester.
o Exposure to UI and CRM systems.
o Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Eclipse, JSON, Maven, JIRA, TestRail, SQL, and Python.
o Knowledge of Google Analytics, Salesforce, and Adobe Experience Manager.
