We are seeking a dedicated Senior Human Resource Officer to join our team to support our HR team to work in partnership with key stakeholders to ensure the implementation, management, and delivery of policies, procedures, and processes that support the business.
Responsibilities:
• Act as an interface between the business and employees to ensure effective two-way
communication, translating items into recommended HR business solutions.
• Provide timely, practical, and professional HR support and advice to Line Managers and
Employees.
• Coordinate with HR Manager for Performance Appraisal activities, ensuring Performance
Management standards are reflected.
• Provide support to the operation in developing Performance Improvement Plans, ensuring that the
business drives increased performance from their employees.
• Ensure the business is compliant with the Country Labor Law, providing coaching to managers
where required.
• Liaise with Country Government Relations team to resolve visa items.
• Coach and guide Managers in HR policy and procedures and provide advice on all HR issues,
including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and conduct.
• Advise Line Managers on HR processes.
• Help assist and resolve pay queries wherever possible.
• Present Management Information and statistics to managers, highlighting key trends and areas
requiring action, recommending pro-active HR solutions (sickness, absence, attrition, recruitment,
and disciplinaries).
• Recruit, train, and motivate staff to ensure targets are met & maximize customer satisfaction.
• Provide monthly activity reports to line managers & attend regular meetings to review HR activities
& issues impacting on their business processes.
• Check that all formalities regarding paperwork & procedures for employees to work are being
followed to ensure adherence to laws and regulations of the country.
• Participate in all employee-related programmes and assist in other special projects that may be
provided by the HR Manager.
Requirements:
• Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field of study.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in both English & good commanding power
• Strong understanding of the industry's best practices
