We need
A Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) holding Radiological Screening for Security Purposes Certificate from NRRC.

• key responsibilities:
1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all activities involving radioactive materials and radiation-producing equipment adhere to national and international standards and regulations.
2. Radiation Protection Programs: Developing, implementing, and maintaining programs to minimize radiation exposure to workers and the environment.
3. Training and Education: Providing training to employees on radiation safety principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
4. Safety Inspections and Audits: Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with radiation safety rules and regulations.
5. Monitoring and Maintenance: Overseeing the use and maintenance of radiation detection equipment and ensuring its proper functionality.
6. Incident Investigation: Investigating incidents involving radiation exposure and implementing corrective actions.
7. Record Keeping: Maintaining records of radioactive material and radiation-producing equipment/systems usage, storage, and disposal.
8. Communication: Liaising with regulatory bodies regarding radiation safety matters and staying updated on advancements in radiation safety practices.
