Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Monitor and manage data center infrastructure, including power systems, cooling, networking, and physical security.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of data center technicians, ensuring that they are well-prepared to handle routine and emergencies.
Incident Management: Quickly respond to outages, hardware failures, and network issues, coordinating with IT staff to resolve problems efficiently.
Maintenance Oversight: Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs for data center equipment and systems.
Compliance & Security: Ensure that data center operations align with industry standards and regulatory compliance
Vendor Management: Coordinate with hardware and service vendors, managing contracts and evaluating service quality.
Reporting: Provide regular reports on data center performance, issues, and resolutions to upper management.
Essential Skills
Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of data center technologies (networking, cooling, UPS systems, etc.)
Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and quickly implement solutions.
Leadership: Strong team management skills to guide and motivate staff.
